Halloween in Vancouver

Halloween is right around the corner, and we have lined up some of the best Vancouver activities for your entire family this October! Does your family have any favourites? Let us know in the comments!

Southlands Pumpkin Patch

Located just down the street from Cowboys and Angels, the Southlands Pumpkin Patch is a must for all your Halloween needs. Enjoy a fun afternoon picking your favourites, and an evening of carving crazy faces! At Cowboys and Angels, we ensured our pumpkins would last all season by painting on faces with black poster paint. Our Melissa and Doug non-toxic paint can be washed right off, even when things get a little messy. Southlands offers private tours and parties for groups, or you can drop in any day of the week!

Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train

Every October, our favourite miniature train turns spooky! The Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train is fun for the whole family. Be sure to dress warmly for the eerie (but family-friendly!) trip through a mystical and magical world. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Events also include pumpkin carving, a costume contest, a haunted barn tour, and a night walk put on by the Stanley Park Ecology Society.

Haunted Witch Academy at Flyover Canada

Flyover Canada loves getting in the Halloween spirit, too! Every day until November 2nd, this family-friendly flight simulation ride at Canada Place offers a wicked twist on their trip across the country. By the end, you will receive your very own diploma to Witch Academy, and can enjoy spooky Halloween decorations! We love this spin on a Vancouver favourite.
